Overview

The GXR948 remote can simultaneously control up to four GX9048 recorders in addition to the D-Mix DSD Mix Engine and D-Stage Stagebox. Each recorder can be programmed to act as a group or operate individually. All recorder functions are allocated a dedicated button on the ergonomically laid out surface, and a range of dedicated LED’s give feedback as to the status of each recorder.

The core of the remote is a mini-PC card running Windows XP embedded. The operating system is scaled down to only include the components absolutely necessary for operation of the unit. In addition for maximum security and reliability, the operating system boots from a read only flash memory to avoid any data corruption.
